Lisa has been with YAD since 2015. Before joining YAD, she clerked for the now Chief Justice Mark V. Green on the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Lisa graduated from Harvard Law School, where she was a student attorney with the Criminal Justice Institute, Child Advocacy Clinic, Immigration Project, Mississippi Delta Project, and Prison Legal Assistance Project. She was also the student government president for two years and held internships with the Children’s Law Center of Massachusetts and the Racial Justice Program at the ACLU’s National Office.

Lisa previously completed a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Denver in 2004. She worked in the Denver area for seven years as a clinical social worker providing wraparound and therapy services for court-involved youth with co-occurring disorders. Lisa received a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas in 2003.
