Representing Noncitizen Clients Part 1

Representing an immigrant client in a C&P can present a host of unfamiliar challenges. Join the Immigration Impact Unit on November 1 from 2-4 pm via Zoom for a discussion of how to spot issues and tackle challenges related to a client’s immigration status. The training will review basic immigration law concepts, discuss risk of ICE enforcement, share practical resources and tips, and offer an opportunity to ask questions. This introductory session is the first in a three-part series; following sessions will focus on representing immigrant parents and on representing immigrant child clients.
