MSW/MPH, LCSW, SOCIAL SERVICE ADVOCATE
Andrea has over a decade of experience working with youth and their families. Prior to joining the Quincy YAD office in 2015, she worked for a community agency providing in-home therapy, therapeutic mentoring, and crisis counseling, as well as for the Department of Children and Families. Andrea received her B.A. from Smith College and her dual MSW/MPH from Boston University. Practicing as a public health social worker, Andrea believes in a holistic approach that incorporates prevention and intervention which aligns with YAD’s Positive Youth Development approach.
Beyond her work with youth and families, Andrea also has specialized training and experience in working with adults with Hoarding Disorder. She served as the Project Director of the BU Hoarding Research Project while finishing her MSW/MPH and has provided training on the topic to agencies throughout the northeast.
