You receive a case that involves evidence that your client was in a particular location based on data from a GPS ankle monitor. What steps do you take? Matt Spurlock will give some ideas on motions to file related to privacy and suppression of the GPS data and Connor Barusch will discuss challenging the reliability of the GPS ankle monitor data through Daubert-Lanigan hearing or at trial. As with all of our brownbags, there will be time to discuss individual cases or issues that have come up in your cases.
