This training will cover:

 

How to work with clients experiencing mental health and substance use issues:

  1. Explore strategies to effectively represent clients facing section 35 petitions.
  2. Identify resources to help clients with their dual diagnoses.

 

How to work with clients facing forensic commitments.

  1. Develop strategies for effectively representing clients in section 16 & 18 commitment proceedings.

 

How to recognize ways to advocate for our clients’ various medication needs and preferences.

  1. Discover how to effectively work with an IME to advocate for and satisfy your clients’ medication goals.
