Managing Stress: Grounding Strategies for Dealing with the COVID-19 Pandemic

April 1, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please join us online via Zoom to discuss some ways to manage uncomfortable emotions that inevitably arise for almost all of us when coping with the COVID-19 pandemic and needed public health measures to contain it. We will provide a brief review of why uncomfortable emotions may come up, how to better understand what you are feeling, and ways to ground yourself in the moment. We will also review some exercises you can try at home and the rationale behind how they can be used. We will include time for questions and answers, and we welcome ideas and suggestions for helpful ways for coping.
